Changes abound at Bass Edge
Bass Edge News
The New Year has ushered in a new look to Bass Edge.
Viewers have already seen the show, with its move to the Outdoor Channel, sporting new graphics and new music. The response has been overwhelmingly positive.
“The guys back in the studio do such a fantastic job,” show host Aaron Martin said. “We knew from out in the field that we had a good group of shows this year, but it is always amazing how much great post production makes them even better.”
This month will also see the unveiling of a completely new Web site design on bassedge.com with dozens of valuable features. Each week, a companion story to the show is posted along. Destination stories will be added throughout the season to help angling travelers make the most of their fishing trips. And there will be even more video quick tips. Bass Edge fans can also access the podcast through bassedge.com.
“The Edge” the official podcast of Bass Edge, has a new voice. Our own Steve Brigman has taken on a permanent role joining Aaron Martin as a co-host.
“The guys always told me I had a face for radio,” Brigman quipped. “I am having so much fun. It’s great giving Aaron a hard time in public.”
Each week, the guys are joined by the angler on that week’s Bass Edge episode, along with a second guest. There are also prize giveaways and listener questions answered.
New on the product shelves this month, “Electronics 101” is a DVD that will help anglers improve their deep fishing with advice from Mike Webb and Aaron Martin. Also slated to be released this month, Brigman’s “Somebody’s Gotta Do It” is a humorous journey through Alaska, Africa, Montana and many other places. A must for every outdoorsman’s library, those who have never wet a line, pulled a trigger or driven a dog team will find Brigman’s storytelling full of grins and adventure.
Also, the Season Two DVD is ready to go and is already a big hit with Bass Edge fans. Look for it, and other fine products on bassedge.com.
